Bethesda Softworks has delayed Starfield, its highly anticipated sci-fi RPG, and Redfall, Arkane Studios’ vampire-themed shooter, to the first half of 2023, the company said Thursday morning. This does however bolster Microsoft's plans for 2023, which reportedly include releasing Redfall and Starfield alongside Obsidian Entertainment's Avowed and Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2. ![]() Many fans are expecting Turn 10 Studios' Forza: Motorsport to be released this year, however Microsoft has not yet confirmed whether this is planned or not. As for Xbox Game Studios titles as a whole, it's not yet known how Microsoft plans to patch the hole left in its lineup for the year. This leaves the PlayStation 5 and PC releases of GhostWire: Tokyo as the only Bethesda published title to release in 2022, outside of an expected Xbox release of Deathloop. Despite the delay and the PS5 cancellation, 'Redfall' will arrive without Performance mode on Microsofts next-gen consoles at the next-gen price of 70 (assuming you dont nab it on Game Pass). The game is coming from developer Arkane, which released its last game, Deathloop, as a timed PlayStation 5 console exclusive in 2021, with an Xbox release expected later this year.
